Love Amabel games! One of my fav designers. Thanks for the interview
Congratulations. LG is lucky to have you!
flashy gets his start as a bully in Tom Brown's Schooldays
Won at first attempt at all difficulty. Enjoyed it. Thank you for your recommendation. I'm also a MK veteran.
Congrats and best of luck on the new job Liz!
Great video, but I have a question: In the Rulebook (pg. 6) it mentions “For the life points you pay in this manner you can destroy face up fighting cards.” I interpreted that as you can destroy cards to use as payment for the missing fight value.
What a delightful to have discovered this 4 years later- the interaction with cameras on is so much fun! Cheers.
Congrats!! I did not realize until now that a purely solo game published by Leder Games is something that I NEED.
This is the best demonstration of the solo game. Well done. X
Congrats!!
Congrats Liz! What a great change and I'm looking forward to however the channel and podcast change in the future
I will try to keep it exciting. :)
Big good news! Happy for you Liz!
Thank you!
Congratulations, that's fantastic! I'll miss your reviews, but you deserve to pursue what makes you happy. Perhaps there is a middle-ground where you can still offer a "things I liked and things I didn't like so much" element as part of your tutorial, overview, and play through videos? I'm sure there's a can of worms to consider regarding when personal commentary crosses the line into review territory, but those sorts of things are valuable to many viewers (or maybe just me). I especially appreciate it when a video give viewers a sense of what it's like to play the game in addition to the technical "this is how the game is played" component.
I'll always be opinionated, I just can't present myself as true media anymore!
I moved all my games by myself in a uhaul. No one but me touched my games. I'm looking to move over 1,000 miles away and I will do the same, even if it takes a dedicated trip just for the games.
I envy your dedication!
Congratulations! 🎉
Oh whoa, what amazing news! Congrats! (Looks forward to a 3-hour solo playthrough and explanation of Oath. With subtitles in English. And Latin... 🤯)
Be careful what you wish for!
Congratulations, Liz! I’d love to hear your thoughts on game development in the future… that should be fun as well as good for you and your company.
I'm planning to be pretty open about what I am up to! :)
So so so SO cool, Liz!! Congratulations!! I can’t wait to play your work ❤
Welcome to the twin cities, Liz!
I just moved and changed jobs, as well. I hope the hard part wasn't too hard and your future bright.
Same to you! Transitions are hard, but hopefully we both end up happy we went for it.
MashAllah, that's awesome!!!! 😁
Shukran jazeelan! :D
AAAAHHHH!!! Liz this is amazing news!! Congratulations!!!
Very cool! Congratulations.
Congratulations! Very exciting! 🎉
OMG I'm SO excited to see what will come out of this!!! Also, very happy for you, Liz! Also, Leder Games is probably the first boardgame company with that many PhDs now XD
Congratulations 🎉!
Congrats on the changes Liz!!! That's so exciting!!!
Happy for you, my friend!
Thanks! I'm excited to see you at all the cons now. :D
Congratulations
Thanks! I am looking forward to your book. :)
How wonderful for you. Respect your decision not to Do critical reviews. Looking forward to better solo variants from Leader games 😊
I'll be doing my best! :D
Dope! Hope to meet you at Gencon!
I will be at the Leder booth! Pretty sure I am working afternoons.
Yippie! Making Arcs solo?
Oath is all I am worrying about right now, but it’s on the list of things to look at in the future. :)
a long time listener here, and huge congratulations to you! Can't think of a better publisher to work for. Onwards and upwards for you :-)
Thanks, I appreciate it. :)
woohoo! congrats!
Congratulations Liz, how exciting for you 🎉 Good luck with the move and look forward to your new solo content 👍😀
YOU ARE AWESOME! ❤❤❤
So excited for you Liz! Cannot wait to see you at the Leder Office later this fall and at Gen Con in just the next few weeks. Congratulations again! -Drew
Thanks! It’s mutual! :)
💯👏
Good luck with the new position! Exciting!
Welcome to the Twin Cities!! Surprisingly great food here if you look for it.
So far so goooood!
WHAAAAAAAAT
First: Congratulations with your new job! Second: I can empathize with you over the change of the channel. You made the right call. I look forward to your further videos.
Thanks! I am looking forward to the challenge of coming up with fresh approaches. :)
@@BeyondSolitaire Reviewing old war games is a good choice. I recommend SPI games, a lot of them can be played on the net.
Congratulations! Best of luck in your new home/job!
Thank you!
Liz all the best, nice to see you follow a job you like and enjoy. CARPE DIEM ! I'll miss your reviews, really... I have maybe 10 games I chose because of you and also a few ones that you helped me making my choice of acquire them or not. The only one I do not share the same idea of you was sleeping gods, which I like a lot, specially the second one.
Don’t worry you can always get my private opinion. Hahaha
@@BeyondSolitaire ehehehhehehe thanks
I agree with your thoughts and wish you luck with your new job... didn't think Leder was a large enough company to employ a solo game specialist... Lol.. hope they pay enough to LIVE.. even in St Paul Minn!
I took a pay cut from my previous job, but this is a real adult job with benefits and absolutely a good spot for me. :)
Congratz! This is amazing news for you and I can't wait to see how things are going to evolve. Thanks for making great content.
Thanks! I am also very curious about how this will all evolve, but I think I'll be happy with how it all turns out. :)
Congratulations! Welcome to the next chapter in your life. I'm happy the podcast will continue and I look forward to seeing how the channel evolves to fit in with your new life.
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
Crazy appreciate your Mage Knight tutorials. Congrats!
Thank you! I guess I'll be making some more of those, haha.
Congratulations Liz! Life changing developments and exiting times. Enjoy!
Thanks! :)
I just bumped into your channel with the Thunderbolt Apache vids. All the best with the new job, and a "congratulations".
Thanks! I guess I'll be back to tutorials soon.
